Çakmak Kahvaltı Salonu (Susan)

Food

Presentation – If you care a great deal about presentation, this is not the place for you; if you care about taste, you will be pleased. Presentation is simple and unadorned, not bad, but not special either.
Taste – Cakmak Kahvalti offers a delicious standard Turkish breakfast. I had the best Kasarli menemen that I've every had! Bread, cheese and other ingredients are of the highest quality but there are no surprises here.
Freshness – Very fresh!
Variety – Don't come here for variety.
Price – Reasonable. If you don't want to shell out money for the all-you-can-eat buffets or restaurants on Bagdat Caddesi, you can still have a satisfying breakfast here.

Milieu

Located in a hole-in-the-wall type place in Besiktas, there is nothing special about this milieu, except that it is convenient to other places you may wish to go afterward.
Physical place – Physically it is clean, but there is a general lack of decoration and overly white walls, which are not special or interesting.
Aesthetic – Plain, uninteresting, and uninspired.
Service – Attentive, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Crowd – Mostly students.
Transportation – Easily reachable by foot from Besiktas.

Uniqueness

- Unfortunately finding a high quality Turkish breakfast is difficult, and we must therefore call Cakmak Kahvalti unique!

Pleasure/Price: 9/10

Bottomline: 8/10
